Add some seasonal flavor and aroma to your drinks with our Mulling Spices during the Autumn and Winter seasons. Some beverages you can add your mulling spices to are hot apple cider, mulled wine, red wine, glögg, wassail, hippocras. You can also make mulled maple syrup or mulled apple cider vinaigrette!
Our Mulling Spices are Organic and come in a 4 oz glass jar with high quality, beautifully designed labels. These spices make a great holiday gift! There’s a lot you can make with mulling spices.
Mulled Maple Syrup:
Simmer 12 oz of maple syrup in a saucepan. Add 1 Tbs. of our organic mulling spices to a tea bag (make sure to close it). Place the tea bag in the saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. If you don’t have a tea bag, you can pour the mulling spices directly into the saucepan with the maple syrup, then strain the spices after they are done simmering. Store spiced maple syrup in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks. Serve warm with your favorite breakfast, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal etc.
Mulled Spiced Tea:
Add 6 oz of water and boil to 212° Fahrenheit. Pour desired amount of our mulling spices to the boiling water. Steep for 4-5 minutes.
Mulled Apple Cider Vinaigrette:
Simmer 16 oz of apple cider vinegar in a saucepan. Add 1 Tbs. of our organic mulling spices to a tea bag (make sure to close it). Place tea bag in the saucepan and simmer for 1 minute. Remove saucepan from heat and let it stand for 3 hours. Remove the tea bag, then serve the apple cider as a Vinaigrette for your salads. Store up to two weeks (no refrigeration necessary). If you don’t have a tea bag, you can pour the mulling spices directly into the saucepan with the apple cider vinegar, then strain the spices after their done simmering.
